Hi,
The Forum has been constructed for when the stuff is released - more a pre-emptive move.
I am doing some final tweaks to the Flankers but it all takes time. I am currently spending around 14 hours a day on the project and it is very close.
When that has been approved by the beta testing team it will then become available.
The Mirage will follow very very quickly after the Flanker release.
The reason that little product information is posted is simply because the project changes every day as stuff is added and then other things removed.
What I can say is regarding the Flanker:
It will be the single seat SU27 B only - two seat versions are planned for a later date if popular.
As a bonus to the B versions an "experimental" CRT version is included (SKM) as a bonus model and it is a hint of other stuff that may follow but should not be regarded as a perfect representation. It was developed to try the feasibility of modelling as much of the CRT's as possible to achieve reasonable frame rates.
It was never intended to make a "full system" aircraft and most of the systems are not supported in the simulator but hopefully it will be a reasonable representation and have enough "going on" to keep people interested and give a feel of flying this awesome aircraft.
John Cagle has worked on the flight model and has done a very good job. There are two sets of textures for each version (one offering lower resolution and file size) and also some "stripped down versions" to enhance multi play. These include all 4 tail numbers of the Knights single seat display aircraft.
More will be posted on the Flanker page on the web when we are close to release.
Regards
Mark
