A/P speed hold

Flanker B support

A/P speed hold

Postby pr945b » Wed Aug 31, 2011 10:49 am

Hi Mark,

everything works fine with the A/P, but the speed hold is a bit strange. Is it possible to set the speed I want to hold or it holds "just" the actual speed of the Flanker? If I press the speed hold button, the speed changes: the plane slows down. So, how can I hold the actual or a desired speed with the autopilot?

Anyway, is it possible - later - to get a UB variant of your Flanker - or a Su-35BM (35S)?

Thanks in advance.

There should be a knob to set airspeed hold (if I recall) so selecting the A/P switch will either save and hold "current airspeed" or "Selected airspeed". I think I set the range upto 600 max.
BTW How long have you have the product?

I am keen on the 2 seat flankers but if i did said versions then they would not be "sparka" but more like the SU 30 MKI etc - but I do like the SU 34

I bought it on 20th january, but I don't had time earlier to fly longer flights, only short test-flights.
Now I checked again the cockpit and finally I found that knob under the speed indicator, on the left. Really sorry, mea culpa.
