Attitude Indicator

Hi everyone, yesterday flying the bird, I realized that the attitude ndicator has an error, when you turn left or right don't maintain the indicator in a fixed position ...
:o :o :o Any solution?

It is correct as presented. The (by lifelong habit I want to say Soviet) Russian way of doing it is to have the wing on the indicator move and the background remain fixed. Same with the HUD. That is just the opposite of how folks who fly "western" aircraft are used to seeing it. It drives you nuts until you get used to it. The "western" style probably drives pilots used to the Russian type gauges nuts for a while as well.

Hope that is what you were referring to?

Believe it or not it was animated 3 times as I thought it was wrong (reversed) but the positioning of the attitude horizon bar moves that way and the background stays still.

Just wanted to add that what also contributes to the gauge feeling wrong is that the bent bar that moves when you roll is actually pointing at the left and right bank angle scales along the bottom half of the gauge edge. That is it's purpose. Those 15, 30, 45, and 60 degree numbers and tick marks are the angle of the banking. They are accurate and at higher angles of banking it will feel like the instrument is getting ahead of you but it really isn't, it's pointing at those numbers.

Hope some of this helps. Maybe this is a reason I have far more "western" aircraft in my hanger. But like anything else, what you learn to use first sets in your mind what is correct going forward. :)
